Abby Young

Abby grew up in Burlington, VT and then moved to the Mad River in 2010 with her mom and sister. She attended Harwood Union High school and the moved on to Castleton University where she got her bachelors degree in criminal justice and developmental psychology. She also has her associates degree in early childhood education. Abby has always had a passion for working with kids and loves to make art messes with them, explore nature and watch them grow. In her free time you will usually find Abby spending time with her husband Jared and their three daughters.

Crystal Downing

Crystal was born in Massachusetts and moved to Vermont when she was 11 with her Mom. As soon as she arrived in the green mountains, she knew she was home. She has been working hard since she was 15 years old while attending Harwood. Crystal is a mom whose love for children has flourished since a young age. She has always wanted to pursue a career with children and decided to make that dream come true when applying to Neck Of the Woods. She is fluent in sign language and excited to share that knowledge with the children. In her free time, Crystal like to read, sing, do crafts, knit, cook, and bake.
