Experience with Children: 25yrs
Suzanne is from the Delaware Water Gap region of New Jersey, and spent the majority of her childhood exploring the Appalachian Mountains and the Jersey shore with her family and friends. She's been Visiting Vermont since 1992, and became a "transplant" here in 2015. She has a bachelor's degree in Education from East Stroudsburg University in PA. Suzanne moved here for a teaching opportunity, and that lead her to finding NOW. In Suzanne's free time she likes to do paper curling, jujitsu, see live music, gardening, and connecting with the Earth.

Hello! I’d like to introduce myself as a staff member and dedicated educator at Neck of the Woods Preschool. I have been an Early Childhood Educator for 35 plus years. I have a Masters Degree and. Montessori Diploma in Early Childhood Education. I adore Children and animals and love everything about nature. I have been a teacher for 35 plus years! I gee up in Rhode Island and later move to San Diego California where I raised my 2 grown children. My husband and I moved to Vermont in May of 2024. To be with family.We have 5 Grandchildren! Children are rays of sunshine beaming to learn and soak up knowledge like a sponge. I am here to provide them with a loving and safe environment and many wonderful learning experiences both indoors and out! I love children with my whole heart and guide them with positive and a fun environment to learn filled with play and structure. I am here for them to learn to problem solve , have compassion , kindness and respect for all. Children are great imitators so we as teachers must give them something great to imitate. I look forward to having many memorable moments with your children!
