Experience with Children: 5yrs
Tom grew up in south New Jersey along the shore. Tom ran his own photography business and frequently vacationed in Vermont. In 2022 Tom and his family packed up and moved to Vermont full time. Tom began to substitute at Spaulding High School and soon moved to NOW for a summer camp position. Tom was such an important part of our summer team he was eager and excited to join us full time! In his free time Tom enjoys hunting, fishing, hanging out with his best friend Sage, exploring and woodworking and spending time with his lovely wife Sue and two daughters Lauren and Olivia.

Ruth is very excited to be joining the NOW team! She is new to Vermont, Ruth moved here from Maine in June, and has loved everything this beautiful state has to offer. Previously she worked at a pediatric doctors office as a CNA working with a wide range of children, different ages and background, and that opportunity has given me a lot of vital skills in childcare. Ruth is currently a first year student at CCV studying Early Childhood Education. In her free time she loves to spend it outside any chance she can get, if she is not outside Ruth is most likely cuddling with her cats while crafting up a storm. Another hobby Ruth enjoys and grew up with, something she holds close to her heart, is singing and playing along with her guitar and ukulele. Ruth is truly excited for this opportunity to work with all your beautifully unique children in such a naturalistic atmosphere that nurtures their individuality.

Hello guardians and grownups of rumble students at Neck of the Woods! Maddie is so excited to be starting as an infant room teacher. She is originally from Massachusetts and moved to Vermont about 3 years ago. Her favorite things to do in Vermont are go for hikes, see shows, and go to farmers markets with her friends. Something about Maddie is that she loves to sing, Maddie has a cat named Atticus and a bearded dragon named Bertie and she knows how to scuba dive! Over the last two and a half years Maddie has been both a paraprofessional and a third and fourth grade teacher. She is so excited to be apart of the NOW family!

Greta grew up in Vermont and recently returned from Wales, where she earned her BA in Education. She is now pursuing her master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders, working toward her goal of becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist. Greta is passionate about helping children grow and thrive in supportive, engaging environments.
